The beginnings
compass was founded in 2016 by Dr. Georg Nicklas, a former professional table tennis player and founder of DONIC & ESN Tischtennis Technology GmbH, a rubber manufacturing company.
Dr. Nicklas’ mission was to offer young talented table tennis players the best possible support to help them become world-class athletes by guiding them on their professional career pathways, assisted by their trainers and families, within their optimal ecosystem.
