Want to join? The compass Foundation is looking for a Fundraising Manager.
Recognized as one of the most exciting initiatives in European youth table tennis, the compass foundation identifies exceptional talent at an early stage and provides long-term support on the journey to international elite competition.
The foundation’s vision is clear: to give young European talents access to outstanding support, enabling them to realize their full potential and ultimately compete among the world’s best.
The compass foundation is now seeking a person who wants to make a lasting impact on the future of table tennis in Europe. They are looking for a Fundraising Manager to join the foundation, with the position scheduled to begin in autumn 2026.
“The Fundraising Manager will play a key role in developing and implementing our fundraising strategy,” says Daniel Zwickl, Managing Director of the compass foundation.
“He or she will identify, secure, and manage relationships with key contacts and donors while building long-term partnerships. The role will also involve developing, establishing, and implementing compelling fundraising concepts and frameworks.”

New stage
Over the past ten years, the compass foundation has actively supported and funded talented table tennis players across Europe. As the project enters its next phase, the foundation is looking for individuals, organisations, and other stakeholders to join its mission and help shape the future together.
“We are looking for partners who share our vision,” Daniel Zwickl continues. “Our goal is to help young players reach the world elite level by giving them the best possible opportunities to develop. To achieve this, we are seeking new partners and committed people who can bring fresh energy and support to our mission of helping young talents succeed.
We are now entering a new fundraising phase, which is why we are looking for a Fundraising Manager who can help us identify and engage potential partners. We are very excited about this project and hope to find someone—ideally with a background in sport, and perhaps even in table tennis—who can help us build new partnerships and support talented young players on their journey to the world elite.”
